DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Dr. ZAFEIROPOULOS\, Savvas (College of William &\
; Mary and Jefferson Lab)\nWe study an RMT model for QCD at finite density
using the Complex Langevin algorithm. Naive implementation of the algorit
hm shows convergence towards the phase quenched or quenched theory. A deta
iled analysis of this issue and a potential resolution of the failure of t
his algorithm are discussed. Among others\nwe study the behavior of the re
al and imaginary parts of the action under Langevin evolution\, the distri
bution of the eigenvalues of the Dirac operator as well\nas the evolution
of the fermion determinant. We find that the correct result can be obtaine
d by a reweighting procedure. This indicates that there is a\n“residual
phase” which is not taken into account by the Langevin algorithm\, which
is probabilistic\, but when it is included explicitly\, the correct\nresu
